In late 2011 I was invited as a visiting artist to the Bradley Fold Allotments in Manchester as part of an arts project there.
The project was run by Elizabeth Wewiora and featuring five visiting artists from around the region, each reacting to the allotments in a different way and medium.
During my visit I collected sounds from around the allotments to make into a composition installed there in a metal shipping container stocked with compost, as part of the final group exhibiton.
Improvised in a single stunning take, the compositions on “Symphony No 1: Winter” are hypnotic and enveloping sheets of sound. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 9, 2023
